I love making large art pieces. And this was one of my first larger paintings. In my graduation year I wanted to build a new rhythm. That came from the lockdown and the adjustment to going back to school and work. So to keep it fun and to continue with new things to do, I started my day at 5:00 in the morning to paint before I went to school or work. This made my day very relaxed and calm and I still had time for things I wanted to learn.
This painting represents connection. I wanted to play with a bit more precision when it came to color shades and coarser brush strokes. I still have to practice more on mixing my paint and the type of brushes I use, to make everything come together better
