OUR STORY
SEEN is a collective founded by four friends from Rotterdam, working across photography, illustration, animation, fashion, and design. What connects them is a shared exploration of identity and the intersection of street fashion and culture, themes deeply rooted in their individual practices.
Through exhibitions, collaborations, and events across the Netherlands, SEEN brings together diverse artistic perspectives to create vibrant visual stories. Each project reflects both individuality and collective experience, offering a space where culture, creativity, and community meet.

The name SEEN reflects the core of our collective: visibility, recognition, and presence. It’s about giving space to voices, identities, and stories that deserve to be acknowledged. To be ‘seen’ means more than just being looked at, it’s about being understood, valued, and connected. Through our exhibitions and collaborations, SEEN creates a platform where culture, identity, and style are not only showcased, but truly recognized.
MEET THE ARTISTS
Luchandro Franca
Is a photographer with roots in Curaçao. His work navigates questions of belonging, identity, and cultural perception, shaped by his experiences growing up in the South of Rotterdam.
Victor Malave
Is a Venezuelan born visual storyteller. Who experiments with photography and video. Through bold colors and dynamic compositions, he invites viewers to see the world from new angles, vivid, immersive, and full of life.
Cheyenn Pinas
Is a Multidisciplinary designer, Producer, Art Director, Event Manager whose vibrant and expressive work explores identity, connection, and culture transforming everyday stories into a space for reflection in a time of fleeting attention.
Vanessa Postma
Is an Animator and Illustrator working in both 2D and 3D. Influenced by hip-hop, cartoons, and her Surinamese heritage, she creates rich, energetic narratives that are playful yet deeply personal.
