Portfolio Productie & Fashion
Welcome to the My Colorful Mess portfolio. Here you’ll find a selection of work. And explore our projects to learn more about what we do.
Share Your Art
This is a platform where Cheyenn helps to further develop the platform together with a great team of multi talents. The initiative is by Rosangela Kanvie of Kanviedance Creations. In collaboration with the HipHopHuis Rotterdam, Street Culter Festival, Luxor Theater and many more. Here we give people within the creative sector a chance to share and sell their art and designs in an accessible, cozy, homely way. In the heart of Rotterdam Center.
The magnitude Platform
The Magnitude Platform is an ongoing project that began as the final project Cheyenn completed during her graduation from the Product Design study at the HKU in Utrecht.
The Magnitude Platform originated as a self-reflection and has since grown into a reflection of how individuals connect with themselves and others. This work explores how people absorb and share information and how they can process, accept, and empower certain parts of their personal journey.
Read more on the magnitude page.
These stories are also available in a mini podcast format, providing a unique and intimate way for audiences to connect with the subjects. The online platform allows for easy access to both the portraits and the podcast, offering a powerful and immersive experience for viewers.
- Showcased
The Magnitude Platform was showcased at the
Dutch Design Week in Eindhoven, featuring the work of Cheyenn. The project was on display in the Klok building and was also featured on Radio 1 with Humberto Tan during the event.
-Through this The Magnitude Expo at DDW she was able to work with Nike. Unfortunately this project may not be shown but it was a great experience with a super fun team!
- And as at the same time she was able to exhibit the first three scarves of the Magnitude at Museum de Fundatie in Zwolle who afterwards bought the three works and added them to the permanent collection of the museum.

Half of the crew are the people Cheyenn works with regularly and the other part was new. Surya was doing production for the first time and had asked Cheyenn to be her PA because she has more experience than her and therefore she could help where needed.

Emotiona | Jadi D
For another project I unexpectedly had to take over a large part of the production to keep everything on track as much as possible. At the time I didn't know exactly what a producer was and what that job entailed.
Michael Sean saw that from a distance with Gene Gulpen and they noticed that my production skills and insights were very good and they were looking for a producer.
So their proposal to me was whether I wanted to take on portfolio projects with them to see if the producer function was something for me. That way I could immediately understand the profession better and also see better what is involved in a video production and what the process is within that. So the first time I went along was for the new music video of the artist Jadi D.
My role for that day was On set Production and Runner. I helped a bit with the styling and the preparations for the decor. I kept an extra eye on the styling in case the styling and make-up team were busy during the shoot, so I could indicate when they were needed on set to quickly touch it up where necessary. The mirror shards were also carefully broken by hand by me haha. I had to use a whole tactic not to ruin our only mirror. Fortunately it went well, but that's only fair when you've just graduated from an art academy.
It was a really fun and educational day. And also a good way to get out of my comfort zone and learn to switch really quickly.
The music video came out a year later than planned from what I understood. Some extra shots were filmed in the meantime and now the video is finally out.

Mémoire | Jummy Woo
For Memoire we were allowed to film a commercial video for the socials and website in Jimmy Woo Amsterdam. Which was really cool because normally no one is allowed to film and take pictures there. Ever since the location opened in the early 2000s it was off limits. I was asked by Sowsu (Micheal Sean & Gene Gulpen) in collaboration with Inbitween models. Where I had the opportunity to work a few times before.
My job was mainly production on set and assisting where necessary next to the runners.

Scentement
Scentement is a Skin and Hair Brand founded by Dasara. Last summer 2023 she asked for my help because she was stuck on her corporate identity. Because she had helped me with another project, I designed the Scentement Corporate Identity in return. Later on, I did the production for her marketing material. Such as product photos and adjustments to the packaging material and the promo videos that were recorded by Micheal and Gene. The product photos with a number of models were done by Noah. It was an intensely long day with two different locations to do the shoots. With inexperienced but very nice models.
My job as producer and recording manager was to find the locations, scout models, arrange MUA, etc. To manage the team and ensure that the post-production went as smoothly as possible with a new team.
We shot three videos that day and a lot of campaign photos that can be used on social media and the website.
For the corporate identity, I first started with a re-design of the logo. It had to feel calm and peaceful with earthy tones with a more luxurious look. I eventually made an alternative yoga drop. So it symbolizes a person in a yoga position and because it concerns liquid natural products, it is more in the shape of a water drop.
I had not worked with such an intense team as this Production team in a long time. It was a fun and educational time for me and the interns.
A few weeks later we built part of the decor for the launch of the brand. I also designed the official invitations, built the pillars and the back drop. The launch event was also for Michelle and Megan (the interns at the time) which they partly had to organize and help set up for their internship and final exam assignment.
